On Wednesday 15th April over 90 members and guests gathered at the prestigious Herbert Park Hotel for the April event. Network Dublin President Mary Kershaw opened the evening by introducing first Siobhan Duffy from theEuropean Commissionwho gave us much practical advise on what our rights are and what is available when travelling in Europe.
This was followed by guest speaker Michael Comyn, broadcaster, communications specialist and master trainerwww.comyn.com.Michael proceeded to give us an inspirational talk on how to be resilient in these difficult times. Staying positive and keeping our focus was one of the key parts of the talk! Having given us some stark statistics about the high level of sleeping pills being prescribed in 2008; he went on to recommend seven and a half hours sleep nightly as sleep deprivation may cause us to miss opportunities and not spot the obvious in our day to day lives. Michael is a regular presenter on 4Fm every Saturday and Sunday morning.
