Once again, the Deer Park Golf Club in Howth was the spectacular setting for our annual golf evening. Members and guests enjoyed a round of golf while our beginners had a lesson from the golf pro before adjourning to the Deer Park Hotel for a scrumptious three-course dinner and our Awards ceremony. Indeed, some enjoyed the evening so much they booked in for the night and played another round of golf in the morning! Marian Wallace placed first while Ada Kelly and Orla Graham tied for second. Christina Wilson won the prize for best beginner and Mary Kane hit the best shot out of the rough. |
