Ageless Aging

The O’Callaghan Davenport Hotel was the place to be on the evening of Wednesday 16 January as 80 women gathered for our first event of 2008. Network Dublin President, Kerry O’Donnell welcomed members and guests before introducing yoga therapist and fitness consultant, Pat Henry.

Pat had a number of tips on anti aging, but the one he emphasised most was to throw out your microwave oven! Pat explained that food prepared in a microwave continues to cook for 30 minutes - either on a plate, or worse still, as it is going through our digestive tracts. That may explain why we have seen so many microwaves in the bins around Dublin these past few weeks!

A particular highlight of the evening was the presentation of a cheque for €3,000.00 to One Family, our Charity of the Year for 2007. Ailbhe Lee, Development Coordinator of One Family, very graciously accepted the proceeds of our Christmas luncheon charity raffle from Kerry O’Donnell.

As you may have heard, Monart Destination Spa has renewed their Main Sponsorship deal with us. Amanda Corrigan was on hand to deliver another spectacular offer exclusively for Network Dublin Members. We are absolutely thrilled to be associated with Monart and thank them sincerely for remaining on board with us for 2008. Keep an eye out for upcoming exclusive offers. Members and guests enjoyed the wine and canapé reception so generously sponsored by Valerie Pierce of Clear and Critical Thinking. Thank you, Valerie.
