| Pat had a number of tips on anti aging, but the one he emphasised most was to throw out your microwave oven! Pat explained that food prepared in a microwave continues to cook for 30 minutes - either on a plate, or worse still, as it is going through our digestive tracts. That may explain why we have seen so many microwaves in the bins around Dublin these past few weeks! |
| A particular highlight of the evening was the presentation of a cheque for €3,000.00 to One Family, our Charity of the Year for 2007. Ailbhe Lee, Development Coordinator of One Family, very graciously accepted the proceeds of our Christmas luncheon charity raffle from Kerry O’Donnell. |
