Elegant Entertaining for Business and Pleasure

Ulster Bank Headquarters on George’s Quay was the spectacular setting for our September event where Mike Prinsloo of West Designs Interior Designs and Floral Art presented an evening of Elegant Entertaining for the ‘time challenged’ businesswoman. Mike set three absolutely stunning tables using items purchased in Superquinn and Dunnes, prepared a three course meal for six at each table and came in under the budget of €100 per table - elegant and cost effective - what a great combination!

The beautiful flowers and vases were supplied by Network Dublin Member Eva Acton, and we wish her much success with her newly opened Dundrum Bloom. Thanks also to Network Dublin Member Veronica Canning for providing Shoeisms for one of the table settings and door prizes. Mike generously donated the table settings for our raffle.

Eoin Conroy of Byrne Conroy Consulting introduced the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards – for more information visit www.businessachieversaward.com or contact (01) 6084030. Entries must be submitted by October 31, 2008, with judging by awards panels and provincial awards ceremonies taking place in November.

Winners from these four events will compete at national level for overall category prizes in March 2009. We are sincerely grateful to Ulster Bank for sponsoring our September event and would like to pay a special compliment to Network Dublin Member, Sandra Smith, for coordinating such a fabulous evening.

And, a very special thank you to Mike Prinsloo for flying in from South Africa to entertain us. Photos courtesy of Elaine Barker, Lensmen & Associates.
