| Annual Story Book |
Date | Wednesday 18th June 2008 Time | 18.30 Venue | Guinness Storehouse, Brewery Bar, Dublin 2
Dear Kerry,
Niall Griffin, equestrian and former Olympian will present our Annual Story Book.
|
With his father, Liam, an All-Ireland-winning hurling coach and Gaelic games part of his upbringing, Niall Griffin might have opted for the hurl rather than the horse. At 12 years of age, however, he made the decision that would eventually lead him to the 2004 Olympics, putting his energies into equestrian sport and subsequently building a fine career. Niall also had the honour of carrying the Tricolor and leading his Olympic teammates at the Opening Ceremony.
Click I’ll be attending if you’re free to come along and join us as we listen to the ‘Story Book’ of one of Ireland’s leading equestrians. Non members are welcome to attend for a small fee of €25. Please note, you can attend 2 events only, before joining.

| Getting to We… from them and us |
After wine, canapés and networking, our members and guests enjoyed a presentation from Ruairi Quinn, TD and Chairperson of the Irish Alliance for Europe on the Lisbon Treaty. Deputy Quinn certainly dressed up for the occasion and arrived in black tie attire (more precisely, red tie!!!). Julie Silfverberg of Success Partners followed with a very informative session on Neuro Linguistic Programming. By employing several methods including matching tones of voice and breathing patterns, Julie explained how both parties can leave the negotiation table with a win/win situation - something everyone in business should strive to achieve. Monart supplied a lovely gift bag of their products for our Member’s Raffle won by Mary Eastwood and presented by Amanda Corrigan.
