Work event for 2006 where Mary O’Driscoll, the MD of Arrivas
Training & Development, will discuss Personal
Effectiveness with us. 
We all realise the importance of getting along with clients
and colleagues in the everyday work environment, but how do
some people seem to succeed in getting on with everyone?
Getting on with people who are like you is easy but how do you
relate to people who are different?
Perhaps it is all about understanding yourself better - so
that you can increase your communication skills to match the
preferences of another person? Or maybe taking a bit of time
to understand your own strengths and how they can be matched
with other, different people. Mary will be taking us though
the tools that will assist us in becoming more Personally
Effective.

This month's Spotlight On will be hosted by Pamela Fay, MD
of Business Performance Perspectives. Pamala has recently
launched a new business service in the area of Business
Etiquette (www.businessetiquette.ie)
and will be introducing us to the do's and don’ts of business
ettiquette, as well as how etiquette is the foundation of your
own brand.
