We all enjoyed a Sparkling Summer Afternoon of Fun at our
August event. The Buttery Café at Fishers in
Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow provided a fabulous buffet
luncheon while our hostess, Rebecca Harrison, liberally topped
up the bubbly all afternoon.
After the scrumptious luncheon, Rebecca put on her
stylist’s hat and treated us to a very interesting and
informative presentation on accessories. As in life, we
learned, it’s all about the balance!
And then - the diamonds! Eoin McDonnell, former Chairman of
The Jewellery Federation of Ireland and owner of Precious,
specialising in sourcing rare and precious diamonds, put on
quite a dazzling performance and array of diamonds! We all
know what to look for in a diamond and won’t forget the four
C's - Clarity, Colour, Carat, Cut.
We then retired to the shop in Fishers for some retail
therapy where we found another stunning display at hand to
suit all tastes and sizes from the sporty to the glamorous and
everyone in between.
