Dear Leanne,
Welcome to your first Network Dublin ezine for 2006. We hope that you had a spectacular Christmas and that you are as excited as we are to start the year off with a positive bang!

We are delighted to introduce Paula King, our first speaker of the year. Paula is the Managing Director of Executive Coaching and her particular area of interest is working with women in business in Ireland.

Paula has written a number of articles highlighting the challenges that face women in the corporate world today and will be using this experience to assist us in "Anchoring positive psychology to our goals for 2006!"

"It is a brilliant way to start the year" says Paula "by taking a look at how our positive thoughts can help us achieve our goals - realistically."

This event will take place on 18 January 2006 at 18.30 and will be held at the beautiful Clarence Hotel on Wellington Quay in Dublin.

This is a must for all members of Network Dublin and your friends can attend for only €20 – simply click on "I’ll be attending" to RSVP and we will see you on the 18th January 2006.

Annual Network Dublin
Conference | November 25
last months
event

The Network Ireland annual conference, held at the Herbert Park Hotel, Dublin proved to be a tremendous success. It was a full house with 125 guests attending from across the country.

We were delighted to have the Leader of the Senate, Senator Mary O'Rourke open the conference with a strong call to all woman to get involved and actively contribute to politics in Ireland.

This was followed by five phenomenal Market Makers in Ireland:

  • Norah Casey, Managing Director Harmonia Publications
  • Lucy Gaffney, NPAR Strategic Monitoring Group
  • Valerie Pierce,
  • Steve Cowman, CEO, Greenstar
  • Professor Mary Cassidy, the State Pathologist.

After a full day of speakers, delegates retired to a delicious dinner where we listened to the success story of Anne Herarty, CEO of CPL Resources.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all guests, speakers and sponsors of the 2005 Conference for their contributions.
