Guest speaker, Michael Comyn – broadcaster, communications specialist and master trainer www.comyn.com was most eloquently introduced by our own Network Dublin member, Valerie Pierce, Clear and Critical Thinking.
Michael proceeded to give us an insight into the fascinating world of intelligence, in particular Emotional Intelligence - E.Q., which in today’s world is being recognized as being at least as important, if not more so, than I.Q. with which we are all more familiar.
Volunteers were encouraged to take part in enlightening and amusing experiments to demonstrate how we subconsciously react to certain suggestions and stimuli. Michael explained how we can have a “Right Hormone Synchronicity” which ensures optimum hormones are released, enabling one to make good decisions. An ill-managed emotion makes for bad choices!
Michael recommends seven and a half hours sleep nightly, as sleep deprivation may cause us to miss opportunities and not “spot the obvious” in our day to
day lives.
A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all. Visit Michael Comyn’s website to read about upcoming Skypecasts radio service launching in March. |
